• Add tag options to the “Duplicate board” modal - when duplicating a board, you can now choose to create missing tags in the target space. Tag matching ignores colour and capitalisation to prevent duplicates.

Features

• Shareable board templates – when sharing a board on a public link, visitors to your public board will now see a button to ‘Duplicate the board’ into their own Superthread workspace. This makes it possible to design a board and share it with anybody else.
• **Link attachments section in cards (Trello importer) **– Trello links (Slack, GitHub, Figma, etc.) are now imported as proper link attachments instead of broken files.
• Preview and save board templates to a space in a non-editable state and add them directly to a chosen space as a fully editable board.

Improvements

• Duplicating a card now also duplicates the card’s attachments and cover images.
• Markdown support for imported cards – our Trello and Jira importers now support markdown formatting. This means your imported card descriptions and comments should be much more readable.

• Adding a YouTube video inline in a card or page now works reliably.
• Fixed persistent offline warning after reconnecting from sleep without refresh.
• YouTube embeds fixed in link attachments. New embeds now use the correct /embed URL and render correctly.

Features

• Save Cards as templates – use the 3-dot menu on a card to save it as a template. The card’s title, description, checklist items, tags, priority, and assignees will all be added to the template.

Improvements

• Checklists in Card templates – you can now save checklists as part of a card template.
• Keyboard shortcut cheat sheet – get work done faster by mastering Superthread’s shortcuts. Just press Shift ? anywhere in the app to bring up a list of all the shortcuts supported.
• Duplicating a card now also duplicates its cover image and attachments.
• API settings page – we’ve made it easy to view and copy your Workspace ID and User ID to use with our public API.
• ‘My notes’ now loads significantly faster when you have lots of notes.
• Cover images now auto-suggest based on the card title – card titles are now used to perform a relevant Unsplash search when adding a cover image.
• When creating cards, only templates from the selected board’s space are shown.
• Updated behaviour to ensure project pages load reliably when launched from the sidebar favourites list.

• The ‘Workspace settings’ option in the workspace dropdown menu now correctly navigates to Settings > General instead of to your profile settings.

Features

• Magic cover images – there’s a new button on cards that will magically set a cover image based on the title of the card. This will only appear if you have cover images enabled in your board’s settings.

• Duplicate all the cards in a board – You can now choose to include cards when duplicating a board, giving you a full copy including lists, cards, relationships, and metadata.

Fixes

• Choosing the ‘Sign in with Apple’ option will now pre-fill the ‘Name’ field during Superthread account creation.
• Fixed the issue where you could not click the ‘Next’ button when creating a Superthread account on mobile Safari.
• Corrected a few visual bugs when the recent vocabulary changes were causing line wrapping and incorrect button sizing.
• The empty state in the notification inbox is now using the bell icon.

Features

• Share boards via a public link:
  • Users can now fully share a view-only version of their boards publicly with people outside of a workspace.
  • Click the ‘Share’ button in the header of a board to create a sharing link. Anybody with the link can view the board without needing to log in.
  • To protect your team’s privacy, card assignees, comments, and activity are not displayed in the public version of the board.
  • Viewers of the public board can also use layouts, filters, and see the metadata of cards.
  • For clarity, a blue banner indicating any changes to the board will be publicly displayed at the top of the board.
• Customise and declutter your sidebar – we know that not everybody needs to use ‘My notes’, Inbox’, ‘My work’, ‘Spaces’, ‘Views’, or ‘Roadmap’. So we’ve made it possible to hide items from the top of your sidebar and from the ‘Workspace’ section. You can also re-order (drag and drop) them to prioritise what you’d like to see at the top. The ‘New note’ and ‘New view’ buttons have also been moved into a larger + New button at the top of the search bar.

Improvements

• Simplified sidebar settings – we’ve made it easier to get to your profile settings, invite team members, and added a new ‘Customise sidebar’ option. We’ve decluttered things by removing some redundant options like ‘Switch account’ and ‘See all workspaces’, as most people only have a single workspace.

• We have resolved the issue affecting Jira imports by successfully migrating to the latest Jira API. Please let us know if you see something weird…
• Corrected an incorrect Czech translation showing in German-language accounts for sprint date updates.

• Version history is now officially in Beta! You can restore previous versions of cards and pages, depending on which plan you have:
  • Free = Up to 7 days of version history
  • Pro = Up to 30 days of version history
  • Elite = Up to 90 days of version history
  • Enterprise = Custom range of time of version history
