Marketing lead

We are an early-stage startup. We are passionate about making companies productive and efficient. We have completed an early-access version of our product. Superthread is a lightning-fast issue tracker & documentation software that doesn't suck. After a year of building it, we want to put Superthread in front of customers.

We are looking for someone who is creative and who can move fast. You will be hands-on and work on Content, Positioning, and Growth.

You will work with the founder who is passionate about product and tech. Yet, he does not have masses of marketing experience.

You will be autonomous and will own marketing. You will build your own strategy and work with others on their initiatives.

As our first marketing lead, you will be hands-on. You will do the nitty-gritty, write the copy, hook up analytics and set up tooling. You will become an expert in the collaborative software domain. You will not be afraid to set up a campaign yourself.

You will get a kick out of B2B marketing and positioning. You will hate waste. You will have propensity for action. You will love well crafted software. You will hate crappy software.

Your skillset and experience

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • At least 2 years experience in B2B SaaS marketing at early stage company.
  • Familiarity with key SaaS metrics and business models, channels and strategies. You will be passionate about product led growth.
  • An infectious passion for positioning and customer communications.
  • A very strong sense of ownership and autonomy.
  • Operationalising and automating or re-inventing a prior marketing funnel, at a startup.
  • A deep understanding of the users of the products you've worked on as well as the tone and personality of the companies you've worked with.
  • A cool head in a crisis — your experience will show how you've overcome the odds to get things done.
  • Creativity and openness to new ideas.
  • You are passionate about collaborative software. You have strong opinions on what's good and bad about various products.
  • You have familiarity with no-code tools like Airtable, Zapier or Webflow.
  • You are good at automating repetitive tasks.
